At our rescue, every animal who arrives carries a story — some shaped by neglect, some by abuse, and many simply by being unwanted. The Braveheart Sponsorship Program invites you to step into those stories of restoration. Through monthly sponsorship, you help provide food, medical care, safe shelter, secure fencing, enrichment, and the patient, consistent care that rebuilds trust. We believe God is in the business of redemption — mending what has been broken and bringing beauty from hardship. Sponsorship is more than financial support; it is a commitment to stand with the overlooked and ensure they experience safety, dignity, and a true second chance.
🐾 Basic Sponsor ($15–$25/month)

$25/month covers medication for one senior cat,

Koda is 18 years old.
He came to us through Oceana Animal Control, carrying the invisible scars of what appears to be past abuse.
He is nervous.
Highly reactive.
Unsure of human touch.
The way he flinches.
The way he watches every movement.
The way he struggles to fully relax.
These are not personality traits.
They are survival instincts.
But despite everything, Koda is still here.
Still trying.
Still learning.
Still brave.
💛 Why Koda Needs a Courage Circle
Right now, Koda lives in a pasture with our goats. His current fence is rotting and falling apart. This spring, we need to:
- Build a safe, sturdy new fence
- Expand his pasture for enrichment and movement
- Allow him to see and interact more safely with the other horses
- Provide ongoing support for his allergy-related chronic cough
- A secure space is more than fencing.
For a horse like Koda, it is peace.
